How strong do my foreign language skills need to be to accredit in a foreign region?

foreign language1

Potential applicants wanting to accredit in a foreign region often wonder what the foreign language requirements will be.  Do they need to be expert at reading the language of their region? Will they be required to transcribe documents? What about different time periods and scripts?

These and other questions are answered in the ICAPGen “Paleography Language Ability” table below.  This document is also downloadable from the ICAPGen℠ website.

Applicants must be at the Journeyman Level to successfully accredit in a foreign region.
